In my first pieces, I wanted to talk about people's feelings and personals relationships, but, after, my work became more and more abstract and the focus of the work was the contemplation of nature: the light passing through the opaque material and drawing shadows, the rings of the wood, the holes and the erosion marks of stones and rocks, the strength of bramble branches... the elements of nature which show the passage of time.
Through all of this period, I worked with many materials (iron solder, glass, fiberglass, resins, elements of human body, wood plaster, cast iron, bronze, stone, cast aluminium and hand made paper...) and several techniques (sculpture, installation, video...).
Currently, I'm working with handmade paper and artificial light. The artificial light has become a very important element: its changes of intensity, of colour and brightness and its movement, give a very different perception of the material. I hope that people wish to remain in front of the pieces enough time to see the slow movement of light and they feel as if the clouds were passing the sky and paint shadows on the land.
